The four seasons are clearly defined in Japan.
In spring,the cherry trees are in full bloom, and it's so fantastic. We have parties under the cherry trees,watching the blossmos. In Japan,the new term starts in April,so people are busy in preparing for new schooland new company.
In summer,we have the rainy season from latter June to former July because of seasonal rain front. everyday rain make sky and our mood gray. But after the rainy season, it goes on sunny and hot days.August is summer vacation.People go many places that they can't go usually such as foreign countries, and they try something difficult, for example limbing high mountains,improving their scholastis ability and.......diet.
In autumn, mountain's color turn to yellow and red from green. Peple enjoy watching the color change and they admire the full moon eating "dango".
In winter,everything is covered with snow in north Japan. people prepare for Christmas and New year. In Japan,we eat buckwheat noodles on the last day of the old year,and we visit shrineavd and pray on the first day of the new year.
Today these four seasons are disappearing because of global warming.

As I read I can imagine how Japan would look like in each season. I have never lived the change from one season to another one. In my country, Venezuela, we do not have seasons as you because we are near the Ecuador Line.
ReplyDeleteSomething about what you wrote and I agree with, is related to the fact that the cherry trees look fantastic when they are in full bloom. I have seen pictures of it and it is really beautiful.
In fact, one of the most well-known songs from Japan is about the flower of the cherry tree, Sakura.
I just hope that you Japanese people can invent something to prevent the extinction of this tree.

Nice as in my country Libya we have four seasons too but a little different from your seasons so in summer it is very hot but in winter it is cold whereas in spring it is nice and all trees are green but in autum all trees lose their leaves !!

There are also four seasons in Hong Kong. But owing to the global warming, the difference between each season is not obvious now. Besides, our summer is longer and winter is shorter than before. I am really afraid that we are losing our winter and never feel cold later. I hope everyone can do thier best to stop the global warming.
