"Why people named the area Redlands? Because the lands in the area have red color!" This is the joke created by my friends, but it is the easy way to remember it's name. Redlands is known in 1900 as “The City of Millionaires,” and later as “The City of Beautiful Homes”. There are lots of famous buildings locate here, like a Moorish-style library built in 1898, A.K. Smiley Public Library, the Redlands Bowl built in 1920s and etc.. A local resident said that we should walk around to watch the beauty of Redlands. But we had no time to do this, because we used the time to fill our stomach with delicious American food, kk : p
is the place where the "Music Man" presented. It is an amphitheater used to show classic performance to audiences with free price. The Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival takes place every summer. And audiences can watch "Music Man" each year during the music festival. How lucky they are, the local residents can easily enjoy classic music performance from June to August on Tuesday and Friday nights with totally free charge! The play Music Man is a musical. It became a hit in 1957 and the first Grammy Award for "Best Original Cast Album" was given to it. They play is funny, but I couldn't listen correctly and understand exactly of most of its sentences. Just guess, guess, and guess: )
I think the best way to integration into American culture is to learn the variety kinds of American history. This experience at Redlands this weekend gave me a good chance to learn American culture. I recommend you go there for a trip someday. This place is different from Beverly Hills, but it worth a sightseeing tour.

I went to Redland onetime, and I saw a lot of people with red hair, actually I was shocked because it was very strange.
