Welcome all students to the Summer 2010 Writing 500 (section 515) class blog!

You are encouraged to use this blog as a place to keep notes, to present your ideas and opinions, share your observations about your new life here, or to start a discussion about a topic that you find interesting or important.

Here is the most important "Rule, No. 1" of writing:

If you write too little, you can't improve your writing!

But ... and here's the positive consequence of Rule, No. 1:

The more you write, the more your writing can improve!

Also, the more you write, the more comfortable you get with writing in English. This blog is a safe place for you to write freely and enjoy sharing your observations and thoughts and ideas with your classmates. Use this blog to get more comfortable; once you get more comfortable, you can then concentrate on improving your writing skills.
