My familyland is located in Beijing ,China.Beijing is the political, educational, and cultural center of china.We consider it the heart and soul of Chinese society throughout the history. So you can explore the essence of Chinese Culture in BJ.Also, I'm sure that everybody know my country well, cause we hold an magnificent Olympic Games in here in 2008 , the visitors and athelets from all over the world came around here at the same time . First, It's our footballteam named "GuoAn". It's growning fast.The members are all working hard. I admire them for what they have been always persist in doing. And I Believe they can do better jod next time.


Second,it's 798.It used to be an old factory , but after the reformation, it has become Beijing's most creative art zone.New generation of artists will come here to display their works of art, including sculptures, paintings or some exaggerate graffities , architectures and crafts.














I'm a guaduate student .My university is The Capital University of Economic and Business. My major is International Business and Trade.I'm a sophomore now. I want to be a postgraduate here, and then return to my country to find an excelent job.My dream is travelling around the world.



In my spare time , I will do many exciting activities. On one hand , I choose to do some excercises. For example, I'm crazy about playing billiards and playing basketball . And in my college , I used to be a good basketball player. On the other hand, I will do a lot of online games and other mini games on my PSP . I like to listen to pop musics and collect some classical CDs ,and I think collecting is a good hobby.

It's the first time to get a foreign friend to me. Before i came in here, i just went to another countryies only to travel. Because i didn't have chance to make a foreign friend, i didn't know how feel it is to my foreign friends.
However, in here i felt one. I met many foreign friends and especially in class i met my precious friends. A few of them left riverside in order to go back to their countries or go study to another country. i really miss all of them especially, i' AM MISSING Naho. Although we met 1 month, we were closed each other. She and maya (now she sit next to me) are my first japanese friends. Because of them, i really like japanese. i didn't know that how japanes is before, but now i know that they are so kind and friendly.
Even though we are not from same countries, we can be absoulutly friends. i realized that fact in here. When i heard that one of my korean friends said me that "i never forget my chinese friend and miss her when i met in china.", i couldn't understand her. At that time, i cannot share emotions with foreign friends.
However, i totally understand her feeling. I really appreciate to Naho who makes me have this feeling. ( Maya! don't be jealous, the reason which i mention just Naho is that she left here. :) ) I cannot forget her and we promised each other to meet in korea and japan. She will come Korea in this winter exactly next year jan. or feb. and we will meet again. In addition, when i will travel to japan, i will contact her.
I think it's a precious memory which i got in here. Even now, i still miss her.. I really hope that she take care of her, have a great time and study hard in Hawaii..!

Something about June

Hello everybody! I'm a student in UCR . My name is Yujun Kong and my English name is June which was give by my homestay family last week.I'm a Chinese and my home is in Shanghai.I will be 17 next month and i am still a high school student.

Let me introduce Shanghai first.As you know,Shanghai is a big and modern city.It's the center of economy and finance and vessel.There are a lot of shopping centers and amusement equipments.So the life there is convenience and busy.If you go to shanghai, the oriental pearl TV tower,Yu Garden and Nanjing Road are all good places to visit.Shanghai citizens are warm.You will be welcomed to shanghai .










Then i want to introduce my high school.It names Jincai High School.As you see on this photo,the teaching building is not high and they are red.The soccer court is big.We are requ we can goired to live in school from grade one to grade two.However home on weekends.The left picture shows our living quarter.Everybody has a bed above his robe.The two boys are my classmates.There are many activities in our school like sports meeting,clothes show,basketball competition and psychology drama etc.

Then i'd like to talk about the subjects in our school.We learn Chinese,Maths,English,Physics,Chemistry,physiology,politics,history ,geography,art and computer.All of the subject should be tested on the final exam and we have important exam once a week.We have 9 classes everyday.That's really tiring and we have too much homework to do but the school force us to sleep at 10:00p.m.However we still feel tired,so we usually take a nap at noon just like the picture show.The life is really busy and we have not enough time to do physical exercise.









Then it's my turn.I do like sports very much.I was the key member of the school basketball team when i was in my high school in Shanghai and i like every kind of sports.I like reading books and surf the internet and making friends,too.I'm happy to see you.

Homesickness

I am in that moment missing my friends and my family so much. Reza told us about it and i really didn't know that would happens with me. I live alone in Brazil, my mother lives in another city, so i'm used to staying alone, but here is different. There i know that i can call and meet everyone if i want, i can drive my car any time and to everywhere when i need, but here…

I know this moment will go away and i hope it happens soon.

What i miss more is go to the theater and the cinema with my boyfriend and friends, i will tell you how my weekends usually are. Sao Paulo is a city of work, culture and food… hehehehehe… i already talked about it in our first post here, so…

On fridays night i like to relax watching a good movie, can be in the cinema or in my home, it doesn't matter. Well, I do it when i'm not working, because the actress life is really different, we work when the people are enjoying.

On saturdays, if i have company, i like to go dancing - my favorite musics are rock n' roll, jazz, blues and brazilian songs -, but before that i enjoy to go to a good restaurant and drink something.

On Sundays people in Sao Paulo like to go to parks with family and do shopping in big malls that we have there, but i prefer to rest and in the afternoon go to a coffee shop with my friends and talk.

I'm 30, but you guys will not believe, i love to play video game, so, sunday is a day when i enjoy it… hehehehehehe… By the way, i am going to buy a PS3, if someone knows good games to buy, please tell me.

My daughter, Juju

Active and always does funny things, even now while I am writing this blog about her. Juju was born on the 2009 New Year eve. Although she is only one year and half old, she loves to be dressed up. She spent a considerable amount of time in the closet. Of course she does not know how to dress, she just miss up with the cloths until I get her dressed. Juju loves go out a lot. I suspect that this is because she feels board of being in our small apartment with me and her father. She loves to go out, play, and meets other kids.

Juju has a curly hair, she attracts everybody to commit on it, what a lovely curly hair. The favorite place that juju loves so much is the kinder Care Learning Center near our home in Redlands, CA. She loves that place and she used to have fun there. The other place that Juju loves is the cheese cake factory restaurant. I noticed that whenever we go to that restaurant she laughs a lot and become excited. These days, Juju starts learning words and whenever I say something she replies: what is that, no, hamee.

Juju grows fast and I am enjoying her even though she is active and requires my full attention to the point I cannot do my other duties.

Balboa Beach

Balboa Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in California and probably in the world.
It's a nice place to swim and play on the sand. Everyday people from all around the world visit this beautiful beach and enjoy the sunny weather and the waves of the Pacific Ocean. Also, there are a lot of playing yards where many people play different kinds of sports like: valley ball, football, and soccer. Moreover, in Balboa beach there are many fire places that are designed for people who loves on air picnic. There are a lot of homes and chalets for rent at balboa beach.
Balboa beach is one of the best secure beaches in Sothern Califotnia. Many on duty rescue personnel, fire fighters, and police men are working to ensure security and safety of the visitors. In Balboa you do not need to drive away to go eat or do shopping. There are a lot of restaurants and shops that sell everything in the area. Also, there are a lot of coffee shops and bars.
Balboa beach can be conveniently accessed from the 1 55, 1 405 and Jamboree road. It is also very close to major shopping malls like: Fashion Island, south Coast Plaza, and Irvinr Spectrum. One visit to this beautiful beach will make you a frequent visitor.

I think this was the most special summer vacation I spend ever. I was happy to have a good time with all of my classmates, although we hadn't talked a lot because of my absents. However, it would be a very precious memory that I can't get over forever.

When I just arrived to UCR, I felt really excited so everything was surprising. I wanted to go to every American restaurants I saw. Besides, I was eager to try to speak in English because I knew it is my purpose to came here.

However, over time, my excitement has gone and only depression has left in me. I didn't want to use, even hear, the English. I suddenly remembered my writing teacher, Reza, told to our class about the culture shock. There are three stages and first one is about the amazing. All the things are amazing. Then, second stage is about the depression. In opposite to first stage, all the things are depressing and don't want to do. Last stage, finally, the amazing and the depression get balance so I can relieve and live like in mother country. I realized I was in second stage of culture shock.

I think I can adapt to different country more quickly because I realized the period of adaption 'could' be wasting of time if it's long. The thing I want to say is you guys, except 4 weeks students, must get over the culture shock and make more precious memories that are valuable in your life!

last weekend!!

I am going to write about the last weekend i had. First of all, i went to my family home,which is located at Irvine city, after school then, we were going to Disney land. It was amazing place and it was the first time that i have been at disney land california. Since three years, i had visited Disney land Florida. I think it was bigger and better than the one in california. After Disney land, we were tired after spending seven hours include playing and shoping. We came bace at home and slept. On saturday, we decided to go to San Diago. We stayed a whole day at Coronado Beach . Coronado is a beautiful island which has a nice houses and shops. There are many resturants and coffee there.we had some coffee at Starbucks coffee.Then, at 8 oclock, we went to downtown which was the place that my family like it. we were riding bicycle with my sisters and the man that was drive us was nice and he show us interesting places at downtown such as hotels and shops. Next, we had diner at cheese cake factory resturant. Moreover, we went to Spectrum center on sunday. I met my friends there and we drink some coffee. at ten oclock, i came back to my home and do a lot of homeworks:(.
In conclousion, i spent enjoyable times in the weekend with my family and friends although i had alot of things to do which are related to school.

Good Bye My Friends

It will be my last blogging. I’ve considered what topic I have to choose in my last blogging. I’d tell my life in Riverside, the U.S.

I came here 4 months ago, the end of March. When I just arrived, I was little disappointed because here wasn’t the place that I had imagined – I don’t remember what I expected. Also, I had some problem to eat American food. It was too sweet, salty and oily for me. Moreover, it was not easy for me to share a small room with my roommate – it is still difficult for me.

But now, I love Riverside, California and America. I got many things here: unforgettable memories, lovely friends, and experiences that I have never done in Korea.

In first quarter, I met two friends, Rowell and Erica. They made my life totally different with before. We went to beach on every weekend, went bowling, and had every dinner together. When I was sad to miss Korea or when I was very happy and excited, we were together. We enjoyed driving at night on singing a song loudly. Also, we loved to see night view at Sycamore Park. All those are going to become just memories. Rowell already went back to Korea because of his military service. I am going to go to Korea in a week. Erica has to stay here more. Rowell, Erica and I, we don’t know where we can gather but I believe we can meet again someday.

I would like to tell you. When you are depressed, sad and tired, find your friends! ask your friends to help. I think there are no more important and helpful than friends. I hope you also have good memorie in Riverside with your friends. Also, I hope I will be one of your forgettable friends.

My experience at Redlands this weekend

Yesterday evening I with my friends went to watch the play "Music Man" at Redlands in San Bernardino County.

"Music Man"

Before the show time 8:15 p.m., we had a traditional American picnic, fried chicken, potato salad, and several fruits, on the grass lawn which is nearby Redlands Bowl where will present the play.

"Why people named the area Redlands? Because the lands in the area have red color!" This is the joke created by my friends, but it is the easy way to remember it's name. Redlands is known in 1900 as “The City of Millionaires,” and later as “The City of Beautiful Homes”. There are lots of famous buildings locate here, like a Moorish-style library built in 1898, A.K. Smiley Public Library, the Redlands Bowl built in 1920s and etc.. A local resident said that we should walk around to watch the beauty of Redlands. But we had no time to do this, because we used the time to fill our stomach with delicious American food, kk : p

Redlands Bowl is the place where the "Music Man" presented. It is an amphitheater used to show classic performance to audiences with free price. The Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival takes place every summer. And audiences can watch "Music Man" each year during the music festival. How lucky they are, the local residents can easily enjoy classic music performance from June to August on Tuesday and Friday nights with totally free charge!

The play Music Man is a musical. It became a hit in 1957 and the first Grammy Award for "Best Original Cast Album" was given to it. They play is funny, but I couldn't listen correctly and understand exactly of most of its sentences. Just guess, guess, and guess: )

I think the best way to integration into American culture is to learn the variety kinds of American history. This experience at Redlands this weekend gave me a good chance to learn American culture. I recommend you go there for a trip someday. This place is different from Beverly Hills, but it worth a sightseeing tour.

I'm going to let you know about where I live in Seoul, the capital of Korea. It's one of the CBD(centeral business district) of Korea cause there're headquaters of financial company such as the banks, stock exchanges and insurance companies. That can be a reason, there're security companies. Also, there're broadcasting systems like KBS, which is a Korean national broadcasting system and SBS, MBC which are Korean major BS. So, It's not only the CBD but Center of Broadcasting System. Due to the speciality of my town, I saw a lot of celebrities at the end of year especaially. However, the most important landmark is a Korean paliament. That must be a reason why all of BSs are Yeoido, my town. I might have guested and as I mentioned earlier this blog, it's not a residential area though, owing to Korean entertain culture especially at night, it's going to be fairly crowed by office-workers. So, there're always crowded both daytime and night. I just miss my town and I hope to see you there!

The Wicked Woman

Sometimes, one person can give you a good or bad image about his country.

When we arrived to Riverside before one month, me, my brother, his wife and their three children, we decided to go to LA for one week, so we can have fun before the studying start. We went to Sheraton hotel, and got two rooms, one for me and the other for my brother's family, and a terrible thing happened to me there :(.

First, let me talk a little bit about the causes, my nephews, I called them trouble maker:

1- Hatoon (5 years)

2- Faisal (2 years)



They are fighting all the time, nothing can stop them, she takes everything from his hand, even if it's boy's toy, and he pulls her hair, after that, both of them cry. For that reason, Faisal always stays and sleeps in my room, and Hatoon stays with her parent.

In 4th day in LA, at 1:30 PM, my brother went outside to meet someone, and his wife came to my room with Hatoon so the housekeeping could clean her room, and the WAR began, Hatoon took Faisal’s car, and he pulled her hair, they cried, yelled, shouted on each other, and the room was totally in anarchy.

After a few minutes, someone hit my door hardly, I thought it was by mistake, so I ignored it, but after ten minutes, another hit on my door, and my nephews were afraid, I opened the door and I saw the housekeeper's equipment and a woman wearing sport suit walking away, I thought the housekeeper dropped something on my door by mistake. Then I discovered that I was wrong, because after that I received the same hit on my door, and it was continuous hits. When I looked through the magic eye, it was the women that wore the sport suit, and I guess you all knowing the reason.

My brother’s room was 444, and room 446 was empty, then room 448 was my room, and the wicked woman was in room 450. When I opened the door, she yelled on my face “IF YOU CAN’T CONTROL YOUR CHELDREN, GET THEM TO THE POOL SO THEY CAN PUT ALL THEIR ENERGY THERE, I CAN’T WORK”.

I was surprised, shocked, a lot of feelings, then she turned and went to her room. I closed the door, and everyone was quite, I went to the phone, and I saw the emergency button, I pressed it without any hesitation, and a woman answered me “911, how can I help you?” OMG!!! 911??? I heard about that in the movies only :. I apologized to her because I thought it’s the hotel’s emergency, not 911 :(.

After that I called the front desk, and I said that someone hit my door several times, and they said they will send a security.
When I opened the door to wait the security, the wicked woman was standing on front of my door, her eyes were red and full of evil, I ignored her until the security arrived, he was very tall and huge, at that time, I started to yelled on her face like she did, I was very angry and my body was shaking, I told her it is not her business to tell me what I should do to our children, it is not her prerogative to yell on my face and hit my door many times and talked to me directly, she got anger more and more, and she said to the security that she hit me door only one time, a BIG LIER. I told him she lie, and our voices get higher, the security shouted "Heeeeeeeeey ladies, I’m standing here, stop that”.

After that, he said to her that she was totally wrong, because she must call the hotel, not hit my door and talked with me. Of course she didn’t like what he said, so she left us and went to her room. The security apologized to me, and said he knows they are children, I thanked him, and I went back to my room. The front desk called me, and said they can move me to room 446, so I’ll be close to my brother, and of course I refused and told them they should moving her not me, they said she refused too, I DON’T CARE.

Actually, I was strong on front of her, my brother’s wife said she surprised, because usually I’m very calm. But after she left my room with her kids, my eyes filled with tears, I hated everything, I felt that I want to go back to my home and my family, I felt that I need my parent to protect me, I’m not the spoiled girl any more, I'm alone now, and I should rely on myself, just myself.

That women, gave me a very bad image, I thought all people here will be like her, I said to myself “They are always said the American people are friendly, they are not”.
But know, I know that I was wrong, when I started the studying, everybody were kind, polite, friendly and smile. I judged on all because a behavior of a wicked women, yes she was very wicked :D.

My world cup expectation

Becase my hobby is football and I love watching it on Tv and read its news in iternet and newspapers , also I support the most popular team in my country Libyawhich was named Alahli and support Inter Milan in Italian champions, so I was pretty successful in my world cup expectations .

I approxmitly followed every continet purification which was nominated some national teams of some countries to world cup so that from Africa 5 teams , Asia 4 teams , North America 3 teams , South America 5 teams Oqunisia 1 team , europe 14 teams as well as South Africa the country which host the champion .

In Africa filters there were not anny surprise just the strong teams were nominated to world cup , the same thing to Nourth and South America but in Asia , North Korea made surprise . About Europe , according to some profissionals , Slovaki and Slovini were surprise .

Now let me tell you my expectations . I nominated Spain , Brazel , German , Portogal , Gana , Neetheland to win the wold cup but I did not Argntina team even though it is my faviourt team because thier coach is not proffessional .
When we talk about Spain , they won Europe cup in 2008 , the frist team in Fifa list ,their coach is professional ( I watched him in 2002 when he was Real Madrid coach so that the team won Spain and chmpions leuge ) and the team members wewe the best in Spain , whereas Brazil team was south America cup winner , also results of Netherlan and Gana in their continet filter were marvellos and German team played realismly , portogal team skills were excellant especially " Ronaldo " .

I am so happy that my first expectation is true , Spain team is the world cup winner and most teams which I nominateed reaching to half final . But my wrong expectation were portogal , Cameron , France , England and Italy ( ex- winner ) . Furthermore , I am surprise from Urguai and USA they played well , also I am proud by Algeria that is the singular Arabic team in world cup and played well even though they left early .

The Compasses of My Life

Now, I am enjoying my life every day: I study English that I like, talk with my friends, join the basketball circle, go shopping with my friends, and go out various places with my boyfriend and so on. It is not too much to say that I live a fullest life in my past life. However, I have only reached this situation after compasses of my great teachers. They taught me not only knowledge but also the practical side of life. I’m going to write about them, especially, two teachers.

First of all, I want to explain about an English teacher in my junior high school. Her name is Junko Shoji and she taught me English for three years. Ms. Shoji liked purple and her personal belongings were all purple. Moreover, she always talked with exaggerated gestures. Therefore, she had a distinctive atmosphere. However, she was good at teaching English and enslaving students in her English class. Also, I was one of the students become charmed by her English class. At the same time, I become enthralled by English and it was my motive of loving English. In her English class, Ms. Shoji had never only taught the language exactly as it was in a textbook. She composed English songs of memory works and had her students sing that in order to learn these things easily and pleasantly for us. Furthermore, she had her students perform a play on the stage in English to memorize important sentences simply. In the Christmas season, we sung a lot of Christmas songs together and held a Christmas party in English. We could have a great time every Christmas day. Anyway, Ms. Shoji always tried to teach us pleasure of learning English. Thanks to this, I became an English lover and I had decided to keep studying English. Ms. Shoji also taught us out-of-school discipline, especially, how a woman should be: the way of bowing rightly, a smart manner of wearing cloths, and a sophisticated way of talking and so on. In fact, these things come in very useful now. To sum up, Ms. Shoji has been like an English master and a woman master to me.

Secondly, I want to explain about a club coach in my high school. His name is Takabumi Takagi and he is the coach of a badminton club. Also, he is a chemistry teacher. Mr. Takagi loves badminton and always instructed us enthusiastically. Therefore, our badminton club’s training schedule was so rigorous and the amount of practice was very large. As I had never taken exercise too much before, it was very hard for me to complete these strict practice schedules at first. Consequently, I was sometimes ready to give up carrying out the schedules because of no guts. However, Mr. Takagi never permitted to give up. He always said like this: “Only after daily effort can one win the crown of victory. Don’t give up. Believe yourself. You can get a great sense of achievement only after you accomplish hard work. Do your best!” When I heard this phrase, I could learn the meaning of keeping going to the end. In fact, I was so pleased that I couldn’t say anything when I won big games. After that, I have been trying to do my best for everything. Mr. Takagi is not only a passionate person but also my good adviser. He was so friendly to his students and he was very popular among us. I used to rely on him in sides, both pursuit of knowledge and the practical side of life. In reference to study, I was poor at chemistry when I was a tenth-grade student because of my bad chemistry teacher, so I was always taught chemistry from A to Z by him before every exam. As a result of it, I became strong in chemistry subsequently. Moreover, during the university entrance exam season, he had been teaching me the subject until last and he had been cheering up me. When it comes to the practical side of life, whenever I had troubles: friend troubles and love troubles and so on, he hung on my every word and gave me an appropriate advice. I hadn’t had such a teacher who I can consult various private things, so I was always happy to be helped by him. We have been still keeping in touch with each other and I remember his phrase, “Do your best!”

In conclusion, I think they always led me the path of righteousness like ‘compasses’ whenever I wavered in my judgment. It’s thanks to these teachers that I am what I am today. I will never forget them and these memories and I love them forever. I will make the best use of things learning from them in the future. Thank you very much and I love you!

Life Like a Movie

Susan’s last boyfriend had been a total nightmare, so, as she headed to a blind date with a new guy, she was very nervous about the date. She paned all her way wandering if she would find a good person in her life, and she blamed herself because this new guy who she met on internet might be worse than her last boyfriend. But she kept walking into the restaurant where they agreed to meet each other.

When she arrived, finding he wasn’t there. She thought “Oh, gosh, I probably made one more mistake in my life. What am I doing here? I must be crazy! ...” She looked around the restaurant, there were several kinds of flowers, lilac, wisteria, and rose, which her ex-boyfriend never sent to her. The flowers were colorful, fragrant and pretty; they were so beautiful the same to those she saw on the first date with her last boyfriend at Center Park. But, after several sweet years with her ex-boyfriend, he suddenly became a total different person. He seldom answered the phone called by Susan, even forgot Susan’s birthday; never mention sent gift to her. Susan totally despaired of him, thinking he must love other girl who is rich and beautiful, and said goodbye to him.... Susan was being in a trance for a long time.

Suddenly, someone touched her shoulder, and said: “Susan?” When she turned to face him, she saw a handsome guy with a warm smile on his face. She answered him with a shy smile: “Yes, you must be scott!” They started to stare each other, and Susan was very comfort to him. They talked many interesting topics, it is surprised her that they have a lot of same hobbies, such as playing piano, watching baseball games and even the scary movies. They were interested with each other and decided to have another date at stadium to watch baseball games.

After several days, they met again and talked a lot at the stadium, including funny things in their middle school. What surprised her very much was that, they studied in the same middle school, and Scott was one member of the school baseball team which had received lots of prized in national competition. He mentioned the captain of his team, who is liable, far-sighted, influential, and handsome, had a serious disease and dying. At last, he invited Susan to visit the caption with him. Susan said with a nice smile: “Sure, It’s my pleasure.”

When they arrived at hospital, he first went into the sickroom and then Susan followed him. After looking at the emaciated guy, Susan’s eyes filled with tears. The captain actually was her ex-boyfriend. She finally understood why her last boyfriend was so indifferent with her.

After she had a date with a new guy, they started to have a relationship. He always made her happy, so she decided to marry him. She told her family her decision. Then, her mother opposed the marriage, for she thought her daughter made a hasty decision. Susan had to persuade her mother and she eventually made her mother stood on her side. The wedding day arrived. Susan was so beautiful and happy. Her family, friends, and all people who were gathering in the church to congratulate her wedding were also happy. Susan was walking towards her fiance who was standing next to minister. Everyone in the church looked at new couple with smile. At the moment she just reached groom, the door opened loudly. There was someone’s shadow. She couldn’t see who the man was, but soon she realized the man was her ex-boyfriend. The guy started to run towards her. She couldn’t believe her eyes!

Steve's Success Story.!

When his boss call him to his office which is located in the main building at 2:00PM, Steve was not too worried since he was a good worker. He is the only employee in the company who finishes his work before dead line. He is also a very experienced worker and self motivated. Once Steve got to his boss’s office, things did not turn out as he had expected. His boss asked him to move to another location in a very far city without giving him any raise in his salary. He just bought home and he already has committed to paying a new mortgage, and cannot afford moving to another city without his company pay at least his rent. His boss told him that this change in his job location was made by new owner of the company. The new owner does not know Steve and was not convinced to by all the tries that were made by Steve’s boss to not relocate him.

Steve decided to quit his job and decided to start his own business thereafter. Many people know Steve from his work at his previous job. Within few months Steve’s company has become a new competitor for the company that he used to work for. Day after a day, Steve’s business was growing up and he started to hire some of his colligues at the previous company, the ones who knew were exceptional.

After two years of the start of the new company, Steve payed off all his loans and mortgage. Also, he made a wealth enough to expand his company’s operations. On one day, he received a call from the owner of the company he used to work at, asking to meet him. Steve was so nice with the man and made an appointment with him. After two years, Steve became glade that the man insisted to send him away, and caused him to quit “being an employee”.

At the meeting, the man asked Steve to buy his company because he no longer can continue in the business. The old company was losing and the old owner wanted to sell not only because he wants to stop the lose but rather to avoid bankruptcy. No one wanted to buy the loosing company and Steve was probably the only one who could buy it. Because Steve wanted to expand his company’s operations outside the city and he knew that the old company has many locations it was a good deal for him. Steve bought the old company and organized it as it was before the new owner came in.

Soon Steve has been recognized as a senior business man who own company that run its operations in multi locations all over the country. Steve though has not changed his life style being hard working man and doing the right things for his family and community.

“Honey, it’s me. I have a problem with my company senior.. I’ll be maybe get crazy. How can I do? These days, I really need your care and help but you usually don’t make contact with me. If you hear my voice mail, call me right away.”
…after 1 hour Susan’s phone was calling.
“Hi ! I wait for your calling.! What happened to you?!”
“Sorry, I’m in the Club. So here is so noisy. I’lll call you later.”
“What?!! Hey,!”

Like this one story, Susan’s ex-boyfriend didn’t listen to attentively her problems. It just says very selfish. So Susan’s last boyfriend had been a total nightmare, so, as she headed to a blind date with a new guy, she was very nervous about the date.

[In a cafe, she wait for a new guy]
‘Why he doesn’t come ..?’
She was thinking over and over about the new guy who she would meet. When she arrived at the place that would meet, he didn’t come out at right time. Even 15 minutes later, he was not appear.
‘Even though it’s the first meeting, you are so, so late.’
She kept staring the door and continullay waited for him. As time goes by, she got angry. She couldn’t endure that the guy was late for 1 hour. Then she decided to leave the place.

At the moment, one man came in front of her. On the time he appears, her eyes fixed him. That man is the person who she is always dreaming as an ideal husband or boyfriend. Suddenly Susan forgot when she got angry.
“Oh, I’m so late.. excuse me. On the way I come here, on the road there is a car accident. So I cannot pass that way so early. I mean.. I’m so sorry about spoiling our first date.”
“Ah.. I’m just okay…I wait for you only 10 minutes..”
She lied and surprised herself why I make a lie. She didn’t want to see that he apologizes to her and feels so sorry.
“Really? Anyway I’m late. So I’ll treat a fabulous food for you. Let’s go out .!”
“okay ^^”

[In a nice restaurant, they are in there together]
“Is it great? Susan?”
“Ya, I think it’s the best delicious food ever I ate.”
“Really? Oh, it’s so thanks for me.

Their inward thoughts are like that.
‘I’m so lucky. He is handsome, gentle, and so polite. He is my ideal man. If I miss a great man, I’ll maybe regret everyday.’
‘I’m so lucky. She is pretty, tender, and elegant. She is my ideal woman. If I miss a great woman, I’ll maybe regret everyday.’
Right, they had the same thinking. They were in the same place and had the same thoughts. It’s so romantic. Both of them wanted to begin a new life each other. And then time is passed away.

[5 years ago, in their house. Actually they got married.]
“Darling.~ I wanna eat the food you make for me.”
“I see. How about chopped roast chicken you like?”
“That’s just what I want to tell you..!!”
They still have the same thoughts. :)

Last week end

On 07/10/10 I went to LA with my friend,Syo,and Syohei.
We met at Riverside Dountown station at 9am.and then we rode a metrolink.
It took us Union station about 1hour and 45minutes.We slept well in the train.

After we arrived at Union station, we immediately took a bus to go to Santamonica.
It took us there almost 1hour and 30inutes, so we were already tired.haha
In Santamonica, we enjoyed shoppig and sightseeing. There are beach and a lot of pepple.
I wanted to swim , but I didnt have swim suit.

When we wrer waiting for a bus to Unionstation, the rain came down buckets.
Finally, the bus came but there werer already crowded and I was wet so AC was sooo cold.
I thought that I may have a cold . ..

Our purpose was to go to Rose Bowl free market on sunday.so we took a bus again and we had to go our hostel. We lookd for bus stop we have to take and we found that on a map.
We went to the bus stop we found , but the bus didnt come easily so we were waiting , waiting, waiting, waiting,,,, maybe four at least 1hour. We wanted to go to the bath room , but if bus is coming , that was gonna be happning. so we endured that.

the bus didnt come yet, we I asked another bus driver .
Unfortunately, we had a misstake.The bus stop was different place...
after that we waited the bus again about 1 hour.

Finally, we arived at our hostel safty at 10pm.

Next day, we woke up at 6am and we went to Rose Bowl .
There wrer maaaaaaaaaaaaaany shops. i dont know how many shops were there.
maybe 1000? 2000?

it was very exciting and made us happy !
If you ike free market, you should go there!!

On weekend ,we had a great time and
we learned that we really need a car!!!!hahaha

Hot Spot in Seoul

Have you ever been in Seoul? I cannot say Seoul is the best city in Korea; however, it is true the city is amazing. In Seoul, you can experience many things representing politics, history, economy and culture of Korea. Today I’d like to introduce one of places where you can enjoy the Korean young and recommend some good restaurants.

There are many prestigious Universities in Seoul. Among them, three universities, Yonsei, Sogang, and Ewha University, are closely located in Mapo-gu. We call the place ‘Shinchon & Ewha Uni.’ ‘Shinchon & Ewha Uni.’ is a kind of entertainment district for shopping, drinking and dating of young people. There are various attractive places that most Korean didn’t even know.

There are various restaurants in red area. Especially, the area is good for lunch. Gamibunsik(Point A) is a restaurant that serves light meal; ddukbokki(a seasoned bar rice cake), spicy udong and rice ball. Also, the price is very reasonable. Spicy udong , the most popular menu, is $3.

Pink area is good for buying clothes. Many small clothing stores are located there. You can have a chance to know Korean young fashion trend and you can buy cheap clothes there. However, I don’t recommend buy many things there because their quality is sometimes not good. Just cheap!

If you go to purple area after evening, you can see lots of cart bars. Snack, beverage and many kinds of accessories are sold In carts bars allowed by government. Particularly, you can get unique item there cheaply.

Yellow area is a center of Shinchon. There are a great deal of pubs. Many young people gather in Shinchon on Friday night. You can know how Korean university student hang out together with alcohol. In special, May is university festival season in Korea. In the season, you can see lots of people who wear same color T-shirt.

Orange area is also for drinking and eating. But Restaurants that are located there have better atmosphere. Inertia of my favorite restaurant, Gaya (Point E), is very special. You can drink beer with oriental sculpture. It feels like museum!

I spent my whole university life in Shinchon & Ewha Uni. – I am student at Ewha womans university. So, most memoreis of my university life are in Shinchon & Ewha Uni.’ Also, I want you to make a good memory in Shinchon & Ewha Uni. I hope you visit there if you have a chance and please call me when you are in Seoul.
